What's been going on?

Always trying to grab the camera

So, Keira is now 5 months old and I promise I'm going to get some super cute updated photos up here with Spongebob. She is quite the active little lady as evidenced by how little she is. She is quite long, however she is still hovering around the 12 pound mark. At her 4 month doctor's visit she was at 11 lbs 7 oz. Seriously though...you can't get this girl to sit still for more than a minute. She's all over the place. Since she's so active she is burning so many calories 'cause girlfriend can EAT! She probably works up an appetite.

However, this has been very distressing on me because she is still in her 0 - 3 month clothing and she has some ridiculously cute 3 - 6 month clothes she can't fit in yet. It's totally throwing things off because then she has some super cute winter clothes that will likely be too big for her. Let's be honest here, we have a very short winter window here in AZ so baggy or not she will be wearing those clothes. Luckily our summer window is quite long (unfortunately) so I am going to start putting her in those clothes to make sure she gets use out of everything. Of course the fashion diva that she is will be posing for several photos in the near future with her fabulous wardrobe.

With that said, here are some photos with what's been going on...

We love our new walker! All tuckered out with her pink friend after a long day in TucsonQuite the tech junkie already...watching some Sesame Street on the iPad!Roxy is such a good big sister and always has to be near her baby to keep an eye on her (plus she needs to make sure any spit up is cleaned up promptly)The fashion diva showing off her new outfit for her cousin's baptism. Notice how baggy it is...yeah, got the 3 to 6 month size because she should have been able to fit in it by now. Just another day in the McFarland household...baby's on her mat, dad's playing/napping nearby, and of course the dogs are in on the action tooThis water bottle is so tasty!
