So, we had a little overnight at the Westin Kierland recently which was a lot of fun! Scott's mom and dad, his sister and her family, his grandparents, and one of his aunt and uncle's was in town for his grandma's hall of fame induction ceremony (more on that later). Scott went golfing super early in the morning with his dad, brother in law, and uncle and then Keira and I met them at the hotel. We went down to the pool for a bit and it was toasty. We then had a surprise birthday party for a friend we went to in the evening. The next morning we went for a nice walk (of course we walked to the far away Starbucks not realizing there was a spot that brewed Starbucks coffee on site), but it was a good burning of the calories. So we walked around a bit and met up with Kelly and Matt and then got ready for our luncheon. It was a great time relaxing even if it was just in town.
